Political Prisoner & Blogger Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki's Father Pleads for Help: "My Son Is Going to Lose His Life..."

Despite
losing functionality in one kidney and with only 80% functionality in
the other, and while suffering from a gallstone, Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki,
25 year old web blogger sentenced to 15 years in prison, continues to
be denied medical furlough from prison.
While many know
him by his pen name "Babak Khoramdin", to many others he is known as
"Iran Proxy" a highly active software development group who established a
name for developing anti filter software after the events that
proceeded the rigged presidential elections in Iran. His real name
however is Hossein Ronaghi Maleki. He is a 25 year old blogger and an
expert in a variety of proxy servers and anti filter software. Though in
today's world such an act would be considered fighting censorship and
standing up for freedom of expression, unfortunately in the vernacular
of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein's action was described as an
"attempt to overthrow the government" - and for that he must now spend
the next 15 years of his life in prison!
From Arrest to Illness....
The
web blogger who wrote under the pen name "Babak Khoramdin" was arrested
on December 13th, 2009 at his father's house in Tabriz. He was
transferred a day later to Evin prison's IRGC [Iran's Islamic Revolution
Guards Corps ] Ward 2A, where he spent many months being tortured in
solitary confinement. According to his father, Hossein developed
kidney disease because while in solitary confinement his only access to
water was from the toilet in his cell.
Hossein
has lost 80% functionality in his left kidney and 20% functionality in
his right kidney and is also suffering from a 17mm gallstone.
Ahmad
Ronaghi Maleki made the following statement regarding his son's
physical condition: "Hossein's condition is dire and yet the authorities
have not allowed him to contact his family. He has undergone two
operations. His physicians have written to both the judicial and prison
authorities stating that Hossein is in urgent need of resting at home.
Unfortunately the prison officials, the interrogators, the investigators
at the prosecutor's office, Judge Pir Abbassi, the head of his office
Mr. Satari, Mr. Mehdi Satari, Mr. Satari's brother who works for the
Ministry of Intelligence, and his cousin Mr. Parviz Sohrabi have to date
not allowed the prison authorities to grant Hossein medical furlough."
Seizure While in Prison
Hossein's
father told Deutsche Welle that on Wednesday July 6th while on his way
from Tehran to Tabriz his family contacted him, informing him that
someone had called from Evin to let them know that Hossein had suffered
from a seizure. Upon hearing this news, Mr. Ronaghi Maleki immediately
drove back towards Tehran and went to Evin prison. "As soon as I heard
the news, I immediately went to the prison. I pleaded with them
to take my son to the hospital, but they insisted that Hossein was not
ill and that he was in the ward's bathroom. I asked them to at least
allow Hossein to contact his mother, but they did not listen. I informed
the prosecutor's office of my son's dire physical condition, explaining
that if nothing was done he may lose his life. I am pleading for help. I
am asking that my son's situation be investigated and followed upon . I
even informed the judicial authorities of my son's extremely dire
situation, warning them that if nothing is done, my son will probably
lose his life."
Mr. Ronaghi Maleki reiterated
that his son had no previous illness. He emphasized that his son's
kidneys were healthy and that he developed this condition as a result of
being tortured and during his time in solitary confinement.
While
repeating the names of those responsible for his son's case, Mr.
Ronaghi Maleki emphasized that these individuals continue to deny his
son medical furlough from prison and stressed that they will continue to
keep him in prison under unbearable conditions for so long, that he
will eventually lose his life!
Ahmad Ronaghi Maleki told
Deutsche Welle: "My question to the Judiciary and the Leader of the
Islamic Republic of Iran is whether a prisoner deserves to die at the
hands of those responsible for his case..."

پدر حسین رونقی: «پسرم دارد جانش را از دست می‌دهد»
حسین رونقی ملکی وبلاگ‌نویس زندانی
حسین رونقی ملکی وبلاگ‌نویس ۲۵ ساله‌ای که باید ۱۵ سال در زندان بماند، در حالی که یک کلیه‌ش را از دست داده و کلیه دیگرش نیز ۸۰ درصد فعال است و سنگی هم در کیسه صفرا دارد، از مرخصی و تماس تلفنی محروم است.
خیلی‌ها هنوز هم او را با نام "بابک خرمدین" می شناسند. برای بعضی دیگر هم او همان "ایران پروکسی" است که گفته می‌شود فعال‌ترین گروه در زمینه ساخت نرم‌افزارهای فیلترشکن بود. اما نام واقعی‌اش حسین رونقی ملکی است، وبلاگ‌نویس ۲۵ ساله‌ای که تخصصش در فیلتر شکنی و عبور از فیلترهای گوناگون بود. هرچند در دنیای امروز این کار یعنی قد علم کردن مقابل سانسور و تلاش برای آزادی بیان، اما در ادبیات کنونی جمهوری اسلامی این کار یعنی "تلاش برای براندازی نرم" که حسین رونقی ملکی باید ۱۵ سال از عمرش را به خاطر آن در زندان بگذراند.
از بازداشت تا بیماری
نویسنده وبلاگ "بابک خرمدین" روز ۲۲ آذر سال ۸۸ در منزل پدری‌اش در تبریز بازداشت و یک روز بعد به بند ۲ الف سپاه در زندان اوین منتقل شد. وی چندین ماه در سلول انفرادی و تحت شکنجه بود. به گفته‌ی پدرش او زمانی که در سلول انفرادی بوده تنها می‌توانسته از دستشویی داخل سلول آب بخورد و به همین دلیل به بیماری کلیه مبتلا شده است.
در حال حاضر حسین، ۸۰ درصد کلیه چپ و ۲۰ درصد کلیه راستش را از دست داده و یک سنگ ۱۷ میلی‌گرمی نیز در کیسه صفرا دارد.
احمد رونقی ملکی پدر حسین در مورد وضعیت جسمی پسرش چنین می‌گوید: «حسین حالش وخیم است و ماموران تاکنون اجازه نداده‌اند که با منزل تماس بگیرد. او دو مورد عمل جراحی داشته. پزشکان کتباً به مقامات قضایی و مسئولان زندان نوشته‌اند که باید در خانه استراحت کند. متأسفانه مسئولان زندان و بازجویان و بازپرس شعبه‌ی ۲۶ آقای پیرعباسی و آقای ستاری رئیس دفتر ایشان و آقای مهدی ستاری برادر آقای ستاری در وزارت اطلاعات و پسرعمه ایشان آقای پرویز سهرابی تاکنون اجازه نداده‌اند که مسئولین با مرخصی ایشان موافقت کنند».
تشنج در زندان
پدر حسین می‌گوید روز چهارشنبه ۱۵ تیرماه در راه تهران به تبریز بوده که خانواده‌اش با او تماس می‌گیرند و می‌گویند یک نفر از زندان اوین تلفن کرده و گفته حسین دچار تشنج شده است.
آقای رونقی بلافاصله به سمت تهران باز می‌گردد و مستقیم به اوین می‌رود. او می‌گوید: «دیروز که شنیدم، بلافاصله رفتم زندان. هرچه قدر التماس کردم که او را برسانید بیمارستان، گفتند مریض نیست و در حمام است و در بند است. گفتم حداقل اجازه بدهید با مادرش تماس بگیرد، گوش ندادند. من مسئولین قضایی دادستانی را در جریان گذاشتم که وضعیت فرزند من وخیم است و اگر چنین باشد، جانش را از دست می‌دهد. من تقاضای کمک دارم و تقاضا دارم که به این موضوع رسیدگی شود. من به استحضار مسئولین قضایی هم رساندم. پسرم الان وضعش خیلی وخیم است و اگر توجه نشود، جانش را از دست می‌دهد».
آقای رونقی تاکید می‌کند که پسرش هیچگونه بیماری قبلی نداشته و کلیه‌هایش سالم بوده است و تنها در اثر شکنجه و ماندن در سلول انفرادی به این بیماری‌ها مبتلا شده است.
او با تکرار چند باره اسامی مسئولان پرونده پسرش، تاکید می‌کند که این افراد مانع آزادی وی می‌شوند و قصد دارند او را آنقدر در زندان و در شرایط سخت نگه دارند تا جانش را از دست بدهد.
احمد رونقی ملکی به دویچه‌وله می‌گوید:« از رئیس قوه قضائیه و از رهبر جمهوری اسلامی می‌پرسم آیا سزای یک زندانی این است که به اراده‌ی مسئولین پرونده‌اش جانش را از دست بدهد؟»
